Others choose a full-length gown for the ceremony and change into a mini wedding dress for the reception, evening party or after-party. Our short wedding dresses are also beautifully suited to engagement parties, hen celebrations, rehearsal dinners, civil ceremonies, destination weddings, bridal showers and special evening events. There is no rule here. Wear it in the way that feels most like you.

We recommend checking the size guide carefully before placing your order. If you are between sizes, we usually suggest choosing the larger size and arranging minor alterations if needed.
For bridalwear, fit is very important, and small adjustments can help create a more tailored finish.
Do the dresses fit true to size?
Most of our dresses are designed to fit true to size, but fit can vary slightly depending on the shape, fabric and structure of each design.

Can the dress be altered?

How far in advance should I order before my wedding?
We recommend placing your order at least 3–4 months before your wedding or event date. This allows enough time for delivery, fittings and any alterations you may wish to make.
Delivery
Where do you deliver?
We offer worldwide delivery.
Available delivery options and charges will be displayed at checkout based on your destination.
For orders delivered outside the United Kingdom, customs duties, import taxes and handling fees may apply. These charges are determined by the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
All dresses are normally dispatched promptly and delivered within approximately 14-28 working days.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery charges are calculated according to your destination and selected delivery service. The full delivery cost will be displayed at checkout before your purchase is completed.
Will I receive tracking information?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking information, where tracking is available.
Please allow a short period for the courier’s tracking system to update after receiving your dispatch confirmation.
Customs duties and import taxes
Orders delivered outside the United Kingdom may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or local handling charges.
Unless these charges are expressly included at checkout, they must be paid by the customer directly to the relevant customs authority or delivery provider. Kate Anna Kelly is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or unpaid import charges.
How will my dress be packaged?
Each dress is beautifully presented in our signature Kate Anna Kelly packaging. Our packaging is thoughtfully designed to protect your piece during delivery while providing a refined and memorable unboxing experience.
Delivery information
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order. Kate Anna Kelly cannot accept responsibility for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete address details.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error in your delivery information. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made after an order has been dispatched.
Made-to-Order Returns & Exchanges
What is your returns policy?
Every Kate Anna Kelly dress is individually made to order following your purchase and produced specifically for your order and selected specifications.
Due to the made-to-order and personalised nature of our dresses, we are unable to accept returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing selection, fit preference, styling preference or event cancellation.
All made-to-order sales are final.
We kindly ask that you review all product details, sizing information and measurements carefully before placing your order. If you require any assistance with sizing or measurements, our team will be delighted to guide you before purchase.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights where an item is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform with the contract.
Can I exchange my dress?
We do not offer exchanges on made-to-order dresses.
As each piece is produced specifically for an individual order, we are unable to return the dress to general stock and replace it with another size or design.
Please contact our team before ordering if you are uncertain about sizing and we will be happy to assist.
What if my dress arrives and the fit isn’t right?
We strongly recommend taking accurate measurements before placing your order and carefully reviewing our size and measurement guidance.
Where measurements are supplied by the customer, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the information provided is accurate.
A change of mind, personal fit preference or incorrectly supplied measurements does not qualify for a return, refund or exchange on a made-to-order garment.
If you believe your dress has been made incorrectly in relation to the specifications agreed with us, please contact our team as soon as possible so that we can review the matter.
Can I cancel my order?
Our made-to-order process begins specifically for each customer following order confirmation.
For dresses made to your individual specifications or measurements, orders cannot normally be cancelled once accepted and production has commenced.
We therefore ask that you carefully review your chosen design, size, measurements and order details before completing your purchase.
Any rights you may have under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.
What if there is a problem with my dress?
Every Kate Anna Kelly dress undergoes a detailed quality-control inspection before dispatch.
In the unlikely event that you believe your dress has arrived faulty, damaged, not as described or materially different from the specifications agreed with us, please contact us through our contact page with your order number and clear photographs of the issue.
Our team will review the matter and provide the appropriate resolution in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
Made-to-Order Quality & Final Sale Terms
Every Kate Anna Kelly dress is created with care specifically for the customer who orders it.
Because production is undertaken for an individual order rather than from general ready-to-wear stock, made-to-order dresses cannot be returned or exchanged simply because:
- you have changed your mind;
- you selected the incorrect size;
- measurements supplied to us were inaccurate;
- you would prefer a different style, size or colour;
- the dress does not suit your personal fit or styling preference;
- your wedding, ceremony or event has been changed or cancelled; or
- you no longer require the dress.

Caring for Your Dress
How should I store and care for my Kate Anna Kelly dress?
To preserve the beauty and structure of your dress, we recommend storing it in a cool, dry place, ideally in a breathable garment bag.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and moisture. For cleaning, professional dry cleaning by a specialist is advised, especially for delicate fabrics, structured designs, lace or embellished details.
